Reliable, affordable transportation is a main obstacle encountered by residents of Birmingham. As Birmingham is a non-walkable city there are a high influx of “Buy Here, Pay Here” car lots. These lots take advantage of the vulnerability of low income families by charging high monthly payments for vehicles that are not reliable and often break down months into ownership.
A transportation solution is available as we assist in providing affordable transportation to families in our Thrive Together Program
